Surrender of certificate.—Every employer who ceases to carry on the employment of persons shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Employees' Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 2 of the manner in which every register of members held by him has been disposed of.
