Application for registration.—Every customs house agent carrying on the clearance of goods for import or export shall make an application for registration to the Development Commissioner in Form SEZ-1, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every register of imports held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
