Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the dealer shall apply to the Regional Transport Authority in Form 30 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Regional Transport Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
