Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the public call office operator shall apply to the Universal Service Obligation Fund in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten lakh rupees, and the Universal Service Obligation Fund shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
