Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the salvor shall apply to the Government of Bihar in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Government of Bihar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
