Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the trustee of a family settlement shall apply to the District Court in Form IV for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the District Court shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
