Surrender of certificate.—Every collector of a Panchayat tax who ceases to carry on the collection of Panchayat taxes shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Collector in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 7 of the manner in which every licence held by him has been disposed of.
