Application for registration.—Every collector of a Panchayat tax carrying on the collection of Panchayat taxes shall make an application for registration to the District Collector in Form 8, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every fair held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
