Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a mine within a forest shall apply to the Divisional Forest Officer in Form I for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees, and the Divisional Forest Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
