Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the registered valuer shall apply to the Board in Form 16 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
