Application for registration.—Every importer of pre-packaged commodities carrying on the import of pre-packaged commodities shall make an application for registration to the Consumer Protection Council in Form G, within ninety days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees and a statement of every measure held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for twenty-one days from that date.
