Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the contractor for defence works shall apply to the Defence Estates Officer in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Defence Estates Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
