Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of land adjoining a railway shall apply to the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
