Surrender of certificate.—Every polling agent who ceases to carry on attendance at a polling station shall, within twenty-one days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Election Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 8 of the manner in which every register of voters held by him has been disposed of.
