Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the stamp vendor shall apply to the Registrar in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the Registrar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
