Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the factor shall apply to the Debts Recovery Tribunal in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Debts Recovery Tribunal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
