Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any operator of a ferry dies, his legal representative shall, within thirty days of the death, intimate the death to the District Collector in Form 3, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register of buildings then held; and the District Collector shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
