Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Puducherry Act 9 of 1973); (b) "landholder" means a person carrying on the holding of land; (c) "land revenue receipt" means a land revenue receipt received, held or disposed of by a landholder in the course of the holding of land; (d) "Form 2" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
