Surrender of certificate.—Every insurer who ceases to carry on the carrying on of insurance business shall, within twenty-one days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IRDA-2 of the manner in which every register of policies held by him has been disposed of.
