Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the shopkeeper in a village market shall apply to the Zila Parishad in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Zila Parishad shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
