Clause 2, Punjab Security of Land Tenures (Parcel of land Control) Order, 2009 [SCF-RE8]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953 (Punjab Act 10 of 1953); (b) "mortgagee of agricultural land" means a person carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land; (c) "register of holdings" means a register of holdings received, held or disposed of by a mortgagee of agricultural land in the course of the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land; (d) "Form 1" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
