Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the passport holder shall apply to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
