Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the scrapping facility shall apply to the Regional Transport Authority in Form 23 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Regional Transport Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
