Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a private service vehicle dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal in Form 38, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every motor vehicle then held; and the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal shall enter the intimation in the register within seven days of its receipt.
