Surrender of certificate.—Every fit person who ceases to carry on the temporary care of a child by a fit person shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Child Protection Unit in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form VIII of the manner in which every admission register held by him has been disposed of.
