Application for registration.—Every mortgagee of agricultural land carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land shall make an application for registration to the Revenue Divisional Officer in Form 12, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every land revenue receipt held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
