Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a protected monument shall apply to the Authority in Form IV for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees, and the Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
