Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the occupant of public premises shall apply to the Estate Officer in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Estate Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
