Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a hotel lodging foreigners shall apply to the Government of Assam in Form S for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Government of Assam shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
