Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment to the post of Deputy Excise Guard in the Excise Department, Government of Punjab shall be by direct recruitment; the age limit for direct recruits shall be thirty-two years, relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time; and the essential qualification shall be a diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution with five years' experience.
