Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the author shall apply to the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of forty thousand rupees, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
