Application for registration.—Every mortgagee of agricultural land carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land shall make an application for registration to the Collector in Form 5, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every land revenue receipt held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
