Clause 2, Chennai City Municipal Corporation (Vending certificate Control) Order, 2026 [SC7-VYB]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919 (Tamil Nadu Act 4 of 1919); (b) "keeper of animals within the municipal limits" means a person carrying on the keeping of animals; (c) "assessment list" means a assessment list received, held or disposed of by a keeper of animals within the municipal limits in the course of the keeping of animals; (d) "Form A" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
