Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the State Board in the custody of the Range Forest Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the State Board; and where the Range Forest Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form II within seven days of the succession.
