Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of a reconnaissance permit shall apply to the State Government in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the State Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
