Clause 2, Bihar Land Reforms (Patta Control) Order, 2025 [SC7-HY6]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950 (Bihar Act 30 of 1950); (b) "person converting agricultural land" means a person carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use; (c) "record of rights" means a record of rights received, held or disposed of by a person converting agricultural land in the course of the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use; (d) "Form 8" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
