Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the third party shall apply to the Competent Authority in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Competent Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within five days of the application.
