Surrender of certificate.—Every occupier who ceases to carry on the occupation of land shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Registrar in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 8 of the manner in which every plan of the land held by him has been disposed of.
