Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a lift irrigation scheme shall apply to the River Basin Authority in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the River Basin Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
