Application for registration.—Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall make an application for registration to the River Basin Authority in Form C, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every permit held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
