Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the practitioner of Indian medicine shall apply to the District Registering Authority in Form 29 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the District Registering Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
