Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the specialised adoption agency shall apply to the District Child Protection Unit in Form V for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the District Child Protection Unit shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
