Application for registration.—Every felling contractor carrying on the felling of trees shall make an application for registration to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in Form VIII, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every sample of effluent held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
