Application for registration.—Every owner of land adjoining an embankment carrying on the use of land adjoining an embankment shall make an application for registration to the District Registrar in Form 5, within fifteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees and a statement of every title deed held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for three hundred and sixty-five days from that date.
