Surrender of certificate.—Every Marriage Officer who ceases to carry on the solemnisation of marriages shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Registrar in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form V of the manner in which every order of maintenance held by him has been disposed of.
