Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the collector of biological resources shall apply to the Biodiversity Authority in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Biodiversity Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
