Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the sponsor of a visa applicant shall apply to the Immigration Officer in Form S for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Immigration Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
