Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the clearing and forwarding agent shall apply to the Controller in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Controller shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
