Application for registration.—Every e-sign service provider carrying on the provision of electronic signature services shall make an application for registration to the Data Protection Board in Form A, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every log held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
