Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the hallmarking centre shall apply to the Central Authority in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Central Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
